City of Webs

Enter the cruel realm of the drow where everyone is plotting to achieve a higher standing than the other. This campaign is designed for 4 drow player characters of any alignment and will take them from level 1 to level 20 with a grandiose finale. The dreaded city of Maerraath provides the players with an endless source of adventures. Be prepared for deception and the dark!

You can use our city setting to play the modules or any other similar drow DND setting with a large city devoted to the Spider Goddess.

The following adventure modules are designed for 1st level drow player characters (EL 3):

kocka THE FORGOTTEN CHEST (539 kB)
The PCs find an old letter in an unused book describing the location of a treasure chest being deposited by a trusty ex-slave servant of an impoverished drow wizard. Opening the chest is extremely complicated, while finding the treausre inside it is an even harder task.
kocka UNLUCKY LAB ACCIDENT (526 kB)
As a result of a lesser house rule violation the PCs are commanded by a house noble to clean up the house laboratory after a series of smaller earthquakes have damaged it. A greater earthquake hits the whole house while the PCs are in the innermost chambers of the lab. The falling debris and the mixing chemicals create a deadly deathtrap that is a true challenge of survival.
kocka AMONGST THE SLAVES (1016 kB)
The PCs are commanded to find and destroy a rebellious slave that has gathered up some allies and foolishly plans to resist the will of its masters and is trying to escape. The PCs start their search for the rebels in the slave pits of their selected house and find out that many slaves are acting strangely. After a closer inspection it is clear that the common point of each rebellious slave's life is their "love".

kocka DRINKS AND DESPOLIATION (171 kB)
The PCs are spending a hedonist evening at a drinking pit where their mentor gets very drunk and his wizard's staff gets stolen. The thief escapes from the drinking pit and the drunk and lazy mentor orders the PCs to retrieve the powerful tool. They recover the staff relatively easily but on their way back the band of the thieves confronts them. It's time to use that cannon...

The following adventure modules are designed for 3rd level drow player characters (EL 5)

kocka THE MAGIC CARPET OF SALAMBO (152 kB)
Salambo, a prominent Academy wizard from the PCs' house has received his long-awaited payment for a year's work, 2000 GP and a comfortable, large flying carpet. He wants the PCs to join the test flight which is supposed to be an outstanding excitement. After a few minutes of majestic flying, things go bad, and suddenly everyone grabs a corner to stay on board of the rampaging magic carpet that goes on a killing spree, tries shaking the PCs off, and then disappears. The PCs are accused of killing the wizard so they must prove their unlikely story by finding the carpet within the city.

kocka RANSOM TO THE WEB (977 kB)
Two aranea twins kidnap a young noble princess and her personal servants. They kill everyone but the novice priestess and demand a ransom for the captured victim. The house has received a letter from the captors and is sending the PCs to investigate the case. The PCs have to figure out a way to capture the kidnappers and rescue the priestess from the reeking caves of the werespiders.
