We have offered backers the option of becoming NPCs in our crowdfounding campaigns and many of them lived with the opportunity. These backers had the chance to create an NPC for the campaign with a location, background story, and to provide their own likenesses that were turned into whatever they wanted to become. These NPCs gave us plenty of options to create locations for our sandboxed and to use them as allies and enemies of the player characters.
